Jenny Lee Mitchell aka Muffy Styler

Vocals, clarinet

is a vaudevillian, singer and musician who spent many years in Europe performing and touring in musical theater and operetta productions from Vienna to Helsinki. In New York Jenny has performed as a singer and musician in various theater productions, bands and with several clown projects. While in Europe Jenny trained with the clown David Shiner and started developing her own characters and cabaret acts.

Recently Jenny created 2 Weimar cabaret shows: Love und Greed which premiered at Pangea, and Weimar Girls, a female political Weimar burlesque/ cabaret which ran at The Slipper Room for 5 months. Jenny hosts/performs regularly at The Slipper Room as Muffy Styler. She studies voice with Barbara Maier Gustern and clarinet with Richard Philbin. Photo by Andrew Foster

Matt Kanelos aka Wang

Keytar, vocals

A widely sought-after collaborator in the New York City jazz, avant garde and rock worlds, pianist and songwriter Matt Kanelos draws equally from both his music conservatory background and his 20 years of experience in the folk and experimental music scenes of New York and Chicago. In recent years, he has performed and recorded with Carol Lipnik, Chris Moore, Pete Galub, Jenifer Jackson, Jon Lundbom, Richard McGraw, Andrew Smiley, Nick Podgurski, and Jason Liebman. Kanelos has produced and released five well-received albums as a bandleader. Recently he has branched out into video production, releasing his latest album VIOLENCE as a companion piece to the self-produced short film of the same title.

Richard Philbin aka Riccardo Hurtz

Richard is a freelance composer/performer/teacher based in New York who specializes in film composition, jazz performance, and woodwind performance. Glen Heroy aka Mr. Christmas

Vocals, spoons

has performed as Santa Claus for over 35 years including 12 years at Macy’s SantaLand, commercials for Hess Trucks, and multiple appearances on Comedy Central, as well as writing and performing his one man Santa Claus show “I, Santa”. As a professional Clown, Glen has toured with the Big Apple Circus, was a clown in residence at The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp, ran the Clown Care program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and was heavily featured in the 6 hour Documentary “CIRCUS” on PBS.
